Merry Riana is one remarkable woman. Shortly after graduating from the Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, she became a financial adviser and managed to clear her $40,000 study loan within six months.

 

Four years later today, 26-year-old Merry, who came from a humble background in Indonesia, has smashed industry records several times over, started her own organization, and even published a book that became a local bestseller.

 

The motivation behind her success stemmed from wanting to provide her parents with the finer things in life while they could still enjoy them. Now, she desires to help other young people to do the same and eventually contribute back to society – thus her reason for setting up the Merry Riana Organization.

 

Says Merry, “The meaning of success holds different meanings to different people. To me, success is the ongoing process of striving to become better and achieve more.
